Native Application

Access Convrs on the go with the native mobile application. Receive push notifications for new messages and manage your availability directly from your mobile device.

The Convrs native app is available for both iOS and Android devices:

Permission Required

Access to the native app feature requires the Native App permission to be enabled for your account. Contact your administrator if you cannot access this feature.

Connecting Your Device

Link your mobile device to your Convrs account using a secure 6-digit code. Once connected, you will receive push notifications for new messages in your assigned chats.

Download and Install the App

Download the Convrs app from your device's app store.

Steps:

  1. Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) on your mobile device.
  2. Search for Convrs.
  3. Tap Install or Get to download the app.
  4. Once installed, open the app and enter your Convrs account email address when prompted.

Generate a Connection Code

Generate a 6-digit code to link your mobile device to your Convrs account.

Warning
The connection code expires after 30 seconds. If the code expires before you enter it, a new code will be generated automatically.

Steps:

  1. Log in to Convrs in your web browser.
  2. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Manage Convrs App from the dropdown menu.
  4. A 6-digit connection code will be displayed automatically.
  5. Enter this code into the Convrs mobile app on your device.

Result: Your mobile device is now linked to your Convrs account. You will receive push notifications when new messages arrive in your assigned chats.

Unlinking Your Device

Disconnect your mobile device from your Convrs account. You may want to do this if you are switching to a new device or no longer wish to receive notifications on your current device.

Remove the connection between your mobile device and your Convrs account.

Note
Only one device can be linked to your account at a time. To switch devices, unlink the current device first, then connect the new one.

Steps:

  1. Log in to Convrs in your web browser.
  2. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Manage Convrs App from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click the Unlink existing Device button.

Result: Your device is now unlinked. You will no longer receive push notifications on that device. You can connect a new device by generating a new connection code.

Working Hours

Configure your working hours to control when you receive push notifications. Outside of your configured hours, notifications will be paused so you are not disturbed.

Configure Working Hours

Set the days and times when you want to receive push notifications.

Steps:

  1. Log in to Convrs in your web browser.
  2. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Manage Convrs App from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the Working Hours section, select the days you are available.
  5. For each selected day, set your start and end times.
  6. Click the Update Working Hours button to save your changes.

Result: Your working hours are now configured. You will only receive push notifications during the times you specified.

Tips
  • You can also configure working hours directly within the mobile app.
  • Set different hours for different days to match your schedule.
  • Leave a day unchecked if you do not want to receive notifications on that day.

How Notifications Work

When a chat is allocated to you and a customer sends a new message, your device will receive a push notification. Tap the notification to open the chat directly in the app.

Notifications are only sent during your configured working hours. If you have not set working hours, you will receive notifications at all times while the app is connected.

Tips
  • Ensure notifications are enabled for the Convrs app in your device settings.
  • Keep the app installed to maintain your connection—uninstalling the app will require you to reconnect.
